Love, Wedding, Marriage
Mandy Moore, Kellan Lutz
Ava is a newly-wed marriage counsellor (Moore). She has a very romantic idea about marriage, so is totally blown away when her parents separate. She tries desperately to get them back together, but her own marriage loses steam in the process.
And that’s about the sum of it. The scenes move on too quickly before each one seems to be finished. They try too hard to make the characters ‘kookie’ so they end up just being stupid. The acting is appalling. I think Mandy Moore has been groomed to be a brunette version of Katherine Heigl in this film, both in character and in looks. And it doesn’t work! She is annoying, Lutz is even more annoying, and the film is so bad that I hardly paid attention after a while. Shame on you – makes rom coms look bad!
