2 Days in New York
French woman, Marion, lives in New York with her partner Mingus and her child Lulu. Her father, sister, and sister’s boyfriend come to visit, and to be at the opening of her photo exhibition. They demonstrate eccentricities from the minute they land in New York and proceed to wreak havoc in the household.
This is the follow up from 2 days in Paris (I seem to have missed reviewing that one) but you don’t need to have seen the first in order to watch the second. The dialogue was fast and noisy and I ended up longing for some quiet space. I wonder if this was the intended affect?
I normally like a fast talking film, but this one just ended up being annoying. It wasn’t too bad, don’t be totally put off, but there wasn’t too many laughs and I wanted something more in the storyline.
