Made of Honour
Tom is the quintessential loveable bad boy – he gets to sleep with whoever he wants and still hang out with his best friend from college, Hannah. Good for him, bad for Hannah who’s pushing 30 and is now looking for something more.
When Hannah is no longer there for him, Tom realises he wants her more than anyone – maybe there’s more to life than sleeping around. But he may have left it too late – Hannah has a new boyfriend and is getting married in Scotland.
Hannah makes Tom her maid of honour. In this role he has two weeks to stop the wedding and make Hannah see her future is with him instead of her new beau. Will he make it to the church in time?
This is another rom com flick from 2008 that ‘makes the grade’. The humour is on the level and the characters likeable. The film involves one of our rom com archetypes – the bad boy who makes good – and the story line can hold your attention the whole way. Lovely film that was made before wedding films got predictable.
