Carys goes to funerals to try to get in touch with her emotions, damaged from a traumatic event in her past.

Then, at the funeral of a young woman called Anna, she meets Tyler – the dead girl’s fiancé. Carys accidentally ends up with Anna’s engagement ring, but also ends up dating Tyler.

When Tyler is suspected of killing his fiancé, Carys is afraid that he is trying to kill her as well. And this is unfortunate as he is the only person that she’s been able to really connect to in a long time.

The plot wasn’t bad, and the acting wasn’t too bad, but some of the events and characters were unlikeable, unreasonable, and ridiculously soppy. I definitely couldn’t warm to Somerhalder (the Tyler character). The camera seemed to have a soft focus on some shots of the protagonists, and this was particularly lame when aimed at Somerhalder – you’re not in a vampire movie now mate!

All in all I wouldn’t bother with this film.
