Date and Switch
Two life long friends plan to lose their virginity before they finish high school and go off to college. But their plans change slightly when Matt reveals he’s a ‘gay dude’. Michael tries to be the best friend he can, but he’s scared of change.
This is a ‘coming of age’ film that is beautifully put together and doesn’t alienate the older viewer. Matt and Michael are lovely characters and together they have quite an amusing time. When their friendship is in jeopardy of falling apart, they are reminded of what is important in life.
There aren’t any sex scenes, but there is a moderate amount of drug use, so it may not be the best film for the younger teens.
This is, however, an engaging, humorous and touching film for adult viewers, and it is highly recommended.
